Cormack Lake Hunting Camp is situated in southwestern Newfoundland adjacent to the Long Range Mountains. It is approximately
55 miles southwest of Deer Lake, NL and is in a
complete wilderness location accessible only by floatplane. Cormack Lake
Camp offers moose, woodland caribou and black bear hunting. Single animal
hunts are available along with combination hunts for both moose and
caribou. A black bear hunt can also be added to the above hunts. The
hunting season begins in mid September and ends in late October.
  
We have
generated power, refrigeration and indoor bathroom facilities, including
hot showers. Satellite telephone communication is available. There is a
full time cook on staff preparing wholesome meals.
