Welcome to the internet home of the Mancini family. Our "Vom Waldhaus" kennel is situated in Shelburne on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia, about two hours outside of Halifax. We are a small kennel and only have puppies once in a while.

We breed only Miniature Smooth Dachshunds. Our puppies are Canadian Kennel Club registered. As we do not have many litters, the puppies will get a lot of individual love, attention and care and they will be well socialized.

The puppies will have had an extencive medical examination, be dewormed and will have their first vaccinations when they go to their new homes at an appropriate age. Puppies will be sold on a CKC NON-BREEDING AGREEMENT only with a mandatory spay/neuter clause.

Before you decide to adopt a dog as a new family member, please remember that a dog (and all other pets and animals) are a commitment for a lifetime. Do your homework and make sure that a dog is the right choice for you. Then educate yourself as to which breed fits your lifestyle best.
