Giddyup!   The History of the Baconheads     Trot, trot, trot...

Years: 100 BC - 50 BC

In 100 BC, Rome had power over Bohono, the small island off the coast of Italy where the Baconheads had originally evolved some time before this date.

One winter evening, out of the blue, thousands of ships appeared. They all stopped in their tracks, well in the water actually. In the sight of land, I suppose.

Suddenly, the ships started to send out little boats with the capacity of six baconheads. All six baconheads were seated in each boat. The Romans didn't think the little boats would be of too much harm, but they knew something was going on.

Boats approaching Bohono

Roman soldiers gathered around the port that was targeted. These unknown citizens and warriors were declaring war against the Romans! The agreement was that the battle would be in a city, which used to be named Barggo, now known as Sarrume. The funny thing was, the Romans did not ask who these visitors were. The Romans were so confident they'd win.

One day, when the boats were still in Bohono, one simple harmless Roman Priest came to the port where all the boats were docked, and asked one of the baconheads who happened to be on land, "Who are you anyway? All Rome wants to know!"

The baconhead who was asked was silent at first. But then he answered, "We are who we are. The answer is -- The Baconheads!"  The Priest took that answer and gave it to the Emperor who gave it to his messenger to give to the announcer who gave it to Rome.

In two months, the battle began. At first, the Romans seemed to be winning the battle. But when they were half way through the battle, the baconheads seemed to be regaining there pride and power.  When the battle finished, the baconheads were victorious.  The baconhead sailors left their soldiers with all the essentials they would need, and sailed off to gather their citizens, who had been living in Greece.  Bohono was once again the homeland of the Baconheads.

Can we do this tomorow instead? I'm not in the mood right now.

Come back often!  More history pages coming in the near future!...  ;)
