375.  Homer, Brenda (Peach), "Electronic," Posted on Lincholshire Surnames <http://home.wi.rr.com/lincolnshire/sur16.htm>, I am looking for my g. grandfather, WILLIAM PEACH. In the 1881 census he was living in Redcar, Yks. and his occupation was given as iron miner, his age was 47 and his birth place as "Certon {Kirton?], Lincoln, England".. He was married to MARGARET (nee DOBSON) born Redcar. I have found him in the burials for Coatham Church, Redcar in 1892 when he was 59 years old. This is all I know at the moment. I am guessing that "Certon" should be Kirton as I am fairly sure that none of the family could read or write.
