A Proud Member of the Masonic Family

Welcome to the website for the TLC Corps of Al Shamal Shriners.

We Ride So Kids Can Walk

Founded in 1998 by three fine Master Masons and Al Shamal Nobles: Dennis Hooper; Bob Russell; and Laurie Niewchas, the TLC Corps has consistently proven itself to be a unit where fun and fellowship are the main focus.

Members of the TLC Corps are well known for their mini fire trucks with each one reflecting the unique tastes of the member.  Each one is built upon a conventional riding law mower frame with a few built upon go-karts.  We even have one riding unit, affectionately referred to as the TLC "Train", built upon a dune buggy frame and capable of carrying up to 6 children or 4 adults.

Throughout the year we participate in a number of community parades and Shrine events and although we do not have any fancy precision driving moves (short of trying to not run into each other) we never cease to draw a crowd when people see our flashing lights or hear our sirens.

If you are a Brother thinking about joining the Shrine, a current Shriner or a Shriner new to the Edmonton area and you are looking for a Unit that is low on formality and HIGH on fun, the T.L.C. Corps is for YOU.
