Generation No. 1

        1. Archibald Campbell MacNeill was born 1824 in PEI. He married (1) Eunice Campbell September 05, 1848 in Canoe Cove Church of Scotland. He married (2) Isabella McQuarrie August 05, 1875. He married (3) Catherine Boatts February 22, 1892. Eunice died of typhoid fever on January 28, 1874 at the age of 55. She is interred in the Canoe Cove Presbyterian/ Church of Scotland Cemetary.

Generation No. 2

        4. Donald Forbes MacNeill (Archibald Campbell) was born August 06, 1852 in DeSable, and died September 28, 1934. He married Annie Marie MacDonald November 16, 1875 in Free Church of Scotland, DeSable, daughter of Archibald MacDonald and Elizabeth Bowles from Little Sands, P.E.I. Annie was born March 12, 1856 and died April 21, 1933. Donald and Annie are interred in Argyle Shore Cemetary.

Among Highland men there is a fine old name which is Domhnal. It gets translated as Donald in English, but the nickname for Donald, among Highlanders, was Dan, not Don or Donnie. Domhnall is the Gaelic for the biblical name Daniel; the error comes in translating it as Donald, instead of Daniel.

“For many years before and after the turn of the century, Donald “Dan” MacNeill, fisherman in the summer, but shoemaker and cobbler in the winter, worked in his shop opposite the school. This man was a professional. Some of the boots and shoes presented to him for repair were almost beyond redemption but, we remember as boys, what a delight it was to watch “Little Dannie”- Whose hands moved with the speed of light, restore them to life again.”

        11. Eunice Dina MacNeill (Donald Forbes, Archibald Campbell) was born March 24, 1877 in DeSable, and died March 19, 1969. She married Duncan J. Campbell November 27, 1898 in Boston, son of John Campbell and Mary MacDougall.

  20 ii. James Victor Campbell, born July 01, 1900; died December 11, 1995. He married Louisa Ruth Murchison July 30, 1924.
  21 iii. Stanley Gordon Campbell, born November 18, 1901; died August 25, 1980. He married Euphemia C. MacEachern March 19, 1927.
  22 iv. Mary Ruth Campbell, born November 16, 1903; died August 10, 1990. She married William Arthur MacEachern October 26, 1924.
  23 v. Gladys Edna Campbell, born September 17, 1905. She married (1) Daniel O'Hanley. She married (2) Roger Vitterio.
  24 vi. John Calvin Campbell, born November 21, 1909; died May 1989. He married Rose Matilda Conway.
  25 vii. Donald Carlyle Campbell, born May 07, 1911; died March 03, 1936. He married Myra Ruth Gamble October 21, 1935.
  26 viii. Russell Garfield Campbell, born May 14, 1915; died July 1992. He married Mary Ada Clow June 27, 1942.
  27 ix. Edwin Angus Campbell, born September 08, 1917; died March 01, 1935.
  28 x. Abner Archibald Campbell, born June 24, 1919; died May 14, 1975. He married Jennie MacNevin 1947.

12. Bertha May MacNeill (Donald Forbes, Archibald Campbell) was born July 21, 1879 in Hampton. She married Herbert Nelson

15. Catherine Jemmima MacNeill (Donald Forbes, Archibald Campbell) was born September 29, 1888 in Dover, Prince Edward Island. She married William Earl Rogerson June 15, 1917.

        Children of Catherine MacNeill and William Rogerson are:

17. Hector MacKay MacNeill (Donald Forbes, Archibald Campbell) was born October 15, 1897 in DeSable, and died May 03, 1983 in Charlottetown. He married Freda Grace MacKinnon August 11, 1922, daughter of Ewen MacKinnon and Hattie Myers from Hampton. Both “Heck” and Freda are interred in Argyle Shore Cemetary.

  38 iii. Errol Chesley MacNeill, born October 16, 1935 in DeSable. He married (1) Linda Marie Roper July 21, 1960. He married (2) Sheridyth Olivia Tredenick August 16, 1975.
