Brown's Guest Home B&B has been family owned & operated since 1955. We are located on Route #6 near the Route #2 intersection. (Sunrise & Glooscap Trail.) Situated on one of Amherst's main throughfares, this stately house has earned it's place among the fine examples of turn-of-the-century construction and style. Our home was built in 1904 when many of the large Victorian houses on this elm tree lined street were being built. It has well kept hardwood floors through out. The kitchen and bathrooms are decorated with natural oak finishes. The street is a favourite walking route for towns people as well as visitors after a long day in the car or at the office. Restaurants within 3 blocks. Consider this your home if you intend to stay longer than one night or if you take day trips to explore the Sunrise Trail and the Glooscap Trail.we'll provide you with a front door key, feel free to come and go as you please. The kitchen and dining area are situated on the west side of Brown's Guest Home B&B where a buffet breakfast is served each morning from 7:30 to 9:00 AM. Enjoy a breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, freshly brewed coffee or tea of your choice, homemade scones, muffins & jams. |
