It was a sort of misty rainy evening and most folks that were not on the river where they belonged, were in the main lodge lying about the ones that got away. There was one lady there by the window gazing across the lake when she spotted something.
"Is that a moose I see over there?" she asked.
"Well, yes it is," the manager said.
"He keeps putting his head up and down under water. What's he doing?"
"He's catching fish," came the answer.dark montreal

"How many a day do they eat?"
"Not many," he said, "They mostly do catch-and-release. Come morning you can take one of the boats and go over to watch him but don't get within fifty feet; that's state law and it is strictly enforced."
"Why is that?" she said.
"You'll spook the fish," he replied

Now I fish with flies for Nova Scotia's wild trout and salmon.
