Residential Rehab Worker

Employed at the KRRC helping with the care of mentally challenged clients. Worked effectively as part of a treatment team and developed good time management skills.

Live in Supervisor/ Relief Staff

Managed the day-to-day operation of a small options house for the post-mentally ill. Did a great deal of problem solving and learned in detail about the daily struggles of the post-mentally ill.   Worked effectively as part of a treatment team.

InfoTech A+ Technician Module (CompTIA A+ Certification)

Successfully completed the A+ Computer Technician module of the InfoTech 2002 program.  Wrote the CompTia certification exams and became an A+ Certified Technician.  Gained extensive knowledge of computer hardware and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Topics included: Hardware Troubleshooting, Computer Networking, Novell Networks, Web Site Development, System Analysis and Design, Visual Basic Programming, and Database Development.  Completed level one of Cisco Systems networking certification.  My strengths are working with hardware components and Windows operating systems as well as explaining the use of same. I have studied Linux operating systems on my free time.

Worked as part of a team troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Gained a more in depth knowledge of networking, security systems, and certain types of proprietary equipment and software.  Provided technical support for end-users.

My first ever experience with movie makeup.

Think it was the summer of '83 when I met a friend of my Aunt's who had produced special effects for the movie Quest for Fire (1981). We had a great time that day with her makeup.
