A big WELCOME to all new and returning Cubs.
This year has lots of fun and adventure in store!!!

The following is some info for you and your parents:

Introducing our Leaders

Erica Fleck is returning this year as a leader. She
is the Akela for the pack this year.

Charlie Robson is a new cub leader this year. Rikki
Tikki Tavi is the name given to him. Last year, he
worked closely with the former Leaders as a Parent
Volunteer. Both of his sons have been in Scouting
for the last two years. He enjoys spending time outdoors,
camping, hiking, boating, cycling, skating and many
other outdoor activities.

Robin Mullin is serving as a Cub Leader King Louis
and Group Committee Secretary. This is his 9th year
with 8th Sackville as a Scouting leader. Robin is
an avid canoeist, camper and geocacher (www.geocaching.com).
He’s a Paddle Canada certified flatwater and canoe
tripping 2 instructor.

Charlene Cordeau is a new leader to the program.
Mang Both her boys and her husband are in the Scouting
movement. Thus, it made sense for her to join as well
to make Scouting a true family affair. She enjoys crafts,
camping, canoeing, and participating in outdoor activities.
She finds working with the kids a great stress reliever
from her job as a registered nurse.

Program

Our meetings are 6:30-8:00pm on Tuesday evenings at Faith Baptist Church
on Stokel Drive. Leaders try to arrive at 6:15 and we ask youth to arrive
between 6:20 and 6:30. This year we are continuing a sign-in/sign-out
system. We ask you to please come in and sign our check in/out sheet when
dropping off or picking up your youth. This is particularly helpful with
our increased numbers this year.

Dues are $1 each week - pays for badges, crafts, etc.

We have room for more youth so if you have friends who might be interested invite
them along to try Cubs out.

We would ask you to ensure that your youth has a Cub Shirt
and Cub Book. These can be ordered from Akela,
since the scout shop is no longer open. If you are interested in a
used shirt - let us know and we’ll ask around or we'll try
calling the BP Guild - Shirt Exchange Sylvia Crouse 477-4384.
