A tribute to Becky, Amy & Sport

20 Jun 87 - 31 May 00
Becky had a tough last year of her life bravely fighting liver cancer. She is now patiently waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge. Becky had been returned to the local Animal Shelter by her first owners when she was 10 weeks old. One look at her sad eyes peeking through the wire cage was enough to say, you're coming home to stay with us.

Amy came to live with us in May 00 after spending 5 years on the racing circuit in the United States under the name SHK Dry Dock. She made the trip to Rainbow Bridge after being diagnosed with lymphoma in May 06. She was a beautiful little girl who will remain in our hearts forever

Sport came to live with us in July 00 after spending 4 years on the racing circuit in the United States under the name D.G,'s Fort Smith. He made the trip to Rainbow Bridge after a tough 8 month battle with throat & breathing problems.  Sport was a big gentle boy who always shared his treats with Amy and his little cousins Milly & Meg. He is now resting beside his best friend, Amy.

I crossed Rainbow Bridge yesterday after we said goodbye,
I began to miss you, because I heard you cry.
Suddenly, there was an Angel and she asked me to enter Heaven's Gate.
I asked her, "Could I please stay outside for someone who would be late?"
I wouldn't make a noise you see, I wouldn't bark at all,
I'll wait here patiently and play with my rubber ball.
The Angel smiled and said, "You stay right here and for your special friend you can wait."
I promise, I won't leave so look for me by the Gate.
You take your time but please keep me in your heart,
Because I know I couldn't enter Heaven if we once more have to part.
