ATTENTION ALL SCOUTERS – HALIFAX CENTRAL

 

Notice of Meeting – April 18, 2010

In accordance with the directive of Scout’s Canada all Zones within Halifax Area will be dissolved at the end of this Scouting Year. These Zones will come under the Administration of Halifax Area.

To this end an important meeting will be held on Sunday April 18, 2010 at Calvin Presbyterian Church, Ashburn Avenue (in back of Bayer’s Rd. Fire Station) at 7:00pm.  The meeting comes out of discussions at the March meeting of Halifax Central Scouters' Club.  Here is an except from the minutes under New Business:

How will these changes affect Groups with in Halifax Central? -- primarily:

·        What will happen with funds in existing Bank Accounts belonging to Halifax Central

·        What will happen to Zone events such as Kub Kar Rally

As you can see from the minutes, suggestions have already been put forward.  Important decisions must be made at this meeting.

It is critical that all Groups have representatives at this meeting.  It is important to have Group Commissioners and reps from each section in attendance.
