1974 VW Bus  Floor rusted from the inside out due to some rust holes around the sunroof.


New floors from the Bus Depot. Not too bad of a fit.  Holes had to be drilled where it was to be welded, over 500 holes!!!


A bit of seam sealer and some paint and it will be as good as new.  All sanded & ready for primer.

Had to weld up some small holes in the windshield sill.  They all rust here.


...just a little bit of fill.  ...paint.


...nice!  Windshield back in with new rubber.


Here's a common rust area.  Cut out the rust, and the battery tray... another common rust area.


Weld new metal to inner frame.  Grind down.


Paint.  Weld new body metal in.


Grind down smooth.  Only needs a little fill to smooth things out.


Cut out all the rust.  Cut out all the rust.

I was gonna replace the hole corner, but decided to just replace what was needed.  Weld just a little at a time to prevent warping.


Patch in new metal  Grind down smooth
