Malas

Mala's are buddhist rosary's - but they can also be worn as jewelry - and to be worn around the neck on our lifetime canine companions would be very auspicious for them!  There have to be a certain number of beads in the necklace, and they have to be made with a certain type of string, and a certain type of mantra has to be said as each bead is strung - all of which is done with these mala's - which are made by me.  The only difference between these mala's and one that a human Buddhist would wear is that they have got an elasticised string which I've found works better for the dogs and their fur.  Another difference is that I don't use any bone beads which a lot of Buddhists use for their mala's - but I have chosen not to use them for ethical reasons.    Which is pretty silly since I'm also selling liver - which is also part of a dead animal!

Because every girl needs her own set of pearls!

Each necklace is $5.00 each and the beads are from reclaimed human jewelry.
