Brief intro

Dr. Subba Raju Garu, a medical doctor, was an adherent of the Brahmo Samaj which was aimed at developing a universal religion and is akin to the Unitarian Universalist movement of the western world.

From a 1987 article in a Visakhapatnam news media:-

Dr. Subba Raju founded the Cultural Association at Anakapalle which has the unique distinction of having organized over 300 lecture-meetings at which scholars and public figures from far and wide have spoken. The Sarada Sangeetha Parishat, Sarada Library, Gandhi TB Clinic, AMAL College, Prema Samajam, and other well-known bodies have benefited from the philanthropy, guidance and constant encouragement of Dr. K. Subba Raju. Most of them were started by him following the inspiration he had received from his father, the late Korukonda Lingamurty. A lover of books and an upholder of Gandhian ideals, Dr. Subba Raju has carved a niche for himself in the hearts of countless number of people-the poor, the needy, the connoisseurs of art and intelligentsia!
