The Amenities

Our waterfront house has 3 bedrooms (double, twins & single) with bedding provided. Towels are also supplied for the full bathroom upstairs and the half bathroom downstairs.

The large living/dining room has natural pine floors and plenty of comfortable seating from which to enjoy the beautiful views of the islands on Mahone Bay. And the den has a build-in entertainment center.

The kitchen is completely equipped with all appliances and all utensils. For those who like cooking outdoors you will appreciate the barbeque and plenty of seating on the large wrap-around deck.

If you have your own kayaks you will be able to launch them directly across the road from the house on a tidal beach. At any time of day you can enjoy the mile walk through the seaside village of Indian Point. If you are looking for day trips; downtown Halifax is 1-hour away by car, the Annapolis Valley with farmlands and quaint college town is also only 1-hour by car.

For those having a long stay, the highlands of Cape Breton and the rolling red hills of Prince Edward Island are both roughly 5 to 6 hours away by car.

Whether yours is a short stay or the entire season, Periwinkle Cottage is the perfect location for a memorable Down East seaside vacation.
