Peter Delmas was very strong in goal for the Herd.
Comments
Posted Sep 1stPeter Delmas served notice to
all the teams in the league that he is fully recovered from last seasons hip
problems. Peter went the distance in goal for the Moose turning aside 36 of the
37 shots fired his way to lead the Mooseheads to a 2-1 win over the host Saint
John Sea Dogs. The Moose have been trying to deal Peter to clear up their
overage logjam and having three goaltenders. Two rookies scored the goals for
the Herd. Alex Souligny with his first and Francis Turbide scored his 2nd of the
preseason. The Sea Dogs outshot the Moose 37-28. Neither team was really
effective on the powerplay. The moose went 1 for 8 while the Sea Dogs were 1 for
9. The
Mooseheads final preseason game is Saturday, September 4th, when they host the
PEI Rocket, game time is 7pm.
