To John, whose unending love and ...no, seriously...my producer, arranger, band, vocal coach and water boy. Your musical and technical abilities made this CD sound so good, You're the best! 

Thanks Sherry, for giving your honest opinions on the arrangements and for allowing me to take up so much of John's time. To Kevin for playing guitar on a few songs. Nancy 

I was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I come from a family of three brothers and two sisters. There has always been music in our home. My Mother plays piano and sings so I inherited her musical abilities (my Dad also had a great voice). My older brothers (Dave and Bob) had a "band" growing up and my younger brother Mark likes to fool around on his guitar. My older sister Pam also plays piano and sings. She and I were part of a gospel music group in the early '80s and traveled around Nova Scotia and New Brunswick singing at different church events. We've been on TV and on radio and had a great time during those years.

I've been singing since I was 13 years old in church choirs, small groups, trios, solos and duets. I've sung in competitions and talent shows. I've also performed in two dinner theatres written and directed by Dave and Paula Adamski - the most fun I've ever had!

For approximately 13 years, I sang and played keyboards in a local church group which traveled around Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. These were the best years so far of my musical career. The guys in the band (Paul, Carlo and Eddie) are, in my opinion, the most talented musicians I've ever known. The singers in the group changed from time to time, but the three guys and myself were the primary musicians during those years. Thanks guys!

Then, in 2007, I recorded this CD, my first ever. This was one of those things that you always wished you could do and then it finally happens. It seemed to take forever to get completed but thanks to John at Simple Productions (www.simpleproductions.net) it finally happened. I also want to mention Bruce at Purple Horse Photography (www.purplehorse.ca) who is a great photographer/artist and did the cover and inside pictures.

Most recently, I've become a member of the Nova Scotia Mass Choir. This is an amazing group of people and musicians. Their musical abilities are second to none. I appreciate the enthusiasm and talent of the members and look forward to the upcoming years. Keep your eyes and ears open to venues where we'll be performing and make sure you attend.
