Adonai Nissi Mission
History: The Mission School

Felicity Van Niekerk, a visionary with a dream in her heart, convinced her husband, Harry van Niekerk four years ago to erect a wooden hut on their smallholding, approximately 8km outside Rustenburg, to start a pre-school facility in order to support another missions base, Fodisa. Fodisa invested in the education of Christine, now a qualified teacher, and unwittingly, a mission was born.

In the four years the amount of students attending, have grown to up to 21 at times. Not only was tutoring provided, but also clothes was handed out (they received from different venues), but also food and drink; not only to the pupils but on frequent occasions to their families wherever and whenever there was need.

Harry would take his bakkie and collect all the children on a Sunday, and also various families and transport them to the local rural church at Fodisa. Sunday evenings Fodisa would take all their members to the Assemblies of G-D church evening services.

Although this was small beginnings, Felicity had a vision and a dream…

We will endeavor to provide a place of rest
For those who are weary;
For those who are broken, persecuted and shattered
And those who do not know where the Light is
Where they can reach out and touch our L-RD
Where peace, tranquility and solace
Will reach into their souls
And Living Waters flood through their being.
For those who want to reach out
A helping hand to humanity
And remember that the L-RD
Created each and every individual human being in
His Perfect Image.
Here is the place where you can discover that:
“He leads me besides still waters,
And restores my soul”

AMEN
