Many a Nova Scotian family has made their living on the sea. Come along with us and let Captain MacDonald and her crew show you how to fish like true Maritimers. Fishing in North Altantic waters is very different from fishing in other parts of the world, and is an experience you won't soon forget. On your trip, we will take you to some of the many shoals and ledges, ten to fifteen miles off Halifax, where fishing is best. All fishing tackle is provided for you along with instruction by the Captain and crew in how to use it. We'll be looking for Codfish, Haddock, Mackeral, Boston Blue Fish, Shark and Wolffish. You get to keep what you catch and our crew will clean/fillet your fish and bag 'em up for you so that they're ready to eat! And while we are making our way to and from the fishing grounds, we provide commentary on historical sites, nature, and all things nautical.
