Patty &
John Phillips
I
am Patty Phillips and have lived in 5 Canadian provinces and Germany, but
am originally from the beautiful Annapolis Valley. I welcomed the move home
after so many years away.
I have worked professionally in the field of graphic design for a number
of years and I do all the photo manipulation, graphic design and art work
at PJ's Arts & Graphics. I find photo manipulation to be an extension
of my experience in graphic design and that of being an artist.
As
an artist I work in most mediums including water color and oil paint. I
have for many years been an active member in a number of art guilds including
the 'Miramichi Artist Guild' in New Brunswick, 'Regina Prairie Artist Guild'
in Saskatchewan and the local 'Artists' Circle' here in the Annapolis Valley.
I have been selling my art work for over 25 years.
My
art work presently can be viewed or purchased at our home/business location
as well as at Pasta Jax & Ribs restaurant in Middleton NS.
I
have 2 grown children: Chris Newton in Fredericton NB, (with wife Tracey
and daughter Alysha & son Bradly) and Peggy Newton in Moncton NB, and a step daughter: Wendy Minchau in Alberta (with
daughter Genevra, her husband Shane and their 4 children Cole and Hayden and Zander and Nikita).
My
husband John was born and brought up in Saskatoon Saskatchwan where he has
lived most of his life till he recently decided to semi-retire with me here
in NS. He worked for 27 years in Saskatchewan for CBC TV as a senior electronics
maintenance technician as well as in CBC Master Control. He presently helps
manage PJ's Arts & Graphics. John has 2 grown children, Clint in Calgary
Alberta, (with Tracy with daughter Ava). Also Lyndsay in Vernon BC. (with Eli and daughters Taya
& Taryn and a son Elias).

is work on display at the Pasta Jax & Ribs restaurant in Middleton and
Sears in Middleton.
