This move was unfortunately necessary due an unannounced change in cjb.net's policy to add "popunder" ads to web pages using their free redirect service. Since we do not control these ads, we cannot control their content and do NOT endorse the companies or products they feature.
Some of these ad pages pop up a window asking you to install special software. If you are asked for permission to install software, please do not agree. The software is not necesary to view the orchestra's web page and very likely contains spyware.
If you think you may already have installed spyware, the free programs Spybot Search and Destroy and AdAware will help you get rid of it. It is also good computing practice to make sure your system by running windows update. We also recommend using an alternate browser such as Mozilla Firefox which is more secure than Internet Explorer and has very effective pop up blocking features.
We are very sorry to have to take these measures. While we understand that ad revenue is often necessary to help pay for free web services, we do not believe that spyware, especially when hidden unannounced in other "software," is ever justified.
