The Island Pregnancy Centre provides caring support and ongoing assistance to women and teens facing an unplanned pregnancy or who need support during pregnancy or help with parenting.
All of our services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL . We serve the entire community, regardless of race, religion, or economic status.
Our caring staff and volunteers are trained in peer counseling and strive to create a non-judgmental, welcoming atmosphere, however, our services are not intended to serve as a substitute for professional counseling.
Every staff-member and volunteer agrees to adhere to our core values as stated in our commitment of care document.

Meet Our Staff
Rinda Dean (left): Rinda Dean joins the Island Pregnancy Centre with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Doctoral Degree in Ministry. Prior to being hired as the Centre's Executive Director, Rinda has been involved in Leadership Development, Volunteer Training, and Conference Speaking, both locally and abroad. She has also been active in various areas of Church ministry working with Children and Youth, Adult Education, Missions, and Pastoral Counseling.Hannah Buchanan (right):Hannah graduated with a BA in English from UPEI in May of 2008. She has been involved with many youth groups, most recently as the Youth Director at St. John's Presbyterian Church in Belfast PEI in 2006-2007 and was also a senior counselor at Camp Seggie for four years. In addition, Hannah was involved with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Perth, Australia in 2007 and traveled to West Africa doing mission work with that organization for 3 months.
