The purpose of these pages is to provide a home for information about, and some of the tunes played at, the Wednesday night "slow" (well, slower) Irish music sessions in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. We enjoy getting together with like-minded folks and learning and playing some tunes.

We meet on most Wednesday nights from 8 to 10 pm at the Lion's Head Tavern & Grill at 5833 Demone (was Sullivan) St. (near the corner of Robie and Young, see map here). Ample parking is available. We hope that you can join us...and don't forget to bring your acoustic instruments!
