Obituary: Chronicle Herald, Aug. 25,1992 - RAMEY, Carroll B. - 63, Greenfield, Queens County, formerly of Brooklyn, Queens County, died August 23, 1992, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Wellington, Queens County, he was a son of the late Frank and Laura (Joudrey) Ramey. He was a car salesman at Rossignol Sales for 27 years from 1954 to 1981. He was employed by Nova Scotia Liquor Commission, Liverpool store, from 1981 until retirement in 1989. He was a former member of Bowater Mersey Band; Liverpool and Shearwater Flying Clubs and Liverpool Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruby L. Zwicker; son, Daniel, Bridgewater; sister, Mrs. Iona Mosher, Tantallon, Halifax County; four brothers, Eldridge, Bridgewater; Harold, Wellington, Queens County; Sydney, St. Stephen, N.B.; Robert, Timberlea, Halifax County; a grandson. He was predeceased by a brother, Rev. Roderick. The body is in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, visiting 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Greenfield United Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Allaby officiating. Burial will be in Pine Rest Cemetery, Greenfield. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Queens County Branch of VON or Greenfield United Baptist Church.

Obituary: Chronicle Herald, Aug. 19, 2000 - Joudrey, Hector Raymond "Sonny" - 52, Milton, Queens Co., died August 18, 2000, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Liverpool, he was a son of Helen Celeste (Legge) and the late Hector Jordan Joudrey. He spent most of his working years at Budget Paving, Liverpool, retiring in 1998, due to ill health. He was a member of the Milton Community Association and a former Milton Scout leader. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin. Surviving are his wife the former, Judith Daury; daughter, Anne Marie Smith; son, David, both of Milton; sister, Bonnie Wong, Brooklyn; brother, William, Milton; two grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, where a memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Jerry Riddling officiating. Burial in Oceanside Cemetery, Hunts Point. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Red Cross or Canadian Liver Foundation
