Rummaging through an old trunk my wife discovered a badly tattered theatre bill announcing the 'FIRST THEATRE PRODUCTION in New France'.
She got really excited and passed the bill to me.
I looked at it and said "I wouldn’t get too worked up about this."
'Did you notice the name of the production?'
'No' she said.
I read out 'The Port Royal Players are proud to present the first production ever of Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In New France!!'
My wife looked blank for a few seconds until what I had said sank in.
Then she burst out laughing 'I wish you wouldn’t do that!'
