Hockey
I never played ice hockey. I did train as a speed skater briefly as a youth. Unlike most Canadians I was not a huge hockey fan until I was "taught" about the game by my younger cousin who played hockey.
As a youth I played ball hockey against a school classmate who went on to play in the NHL, Jamie Matthews.
My wife's cousin, Doug Doull also played in the NHL for the Boston Bruins. My favorite team is the Montreal Canadiens.
