Religious Education Notices: Children's Liturgy begins this Sunday during the 10:30 Mass for grades 1-3. These children are invited to join the Liturgy of the Word each Sunday in the St. Agnes room where readings and Gospel of the day are presented in a language easy for the children.

Grade 4 class will be presented with a personal copy of the New Testament during the 10:30 Mass on Oct. 22^nd.

Parents of Grade 2 children please note that there is a meeting on Sun., Oct 29^th at 9:30 in the auditorium in preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation to be celebrated in late November.

The Chairperson of St. Agnes Pastoral Council introduces the 2006/2007 Pastoral Council Members:

Vice-Chair: John Bishop, Past Chair: Mary Hope, Secretary: Members: Jim Brown, Tim Dietrich, Joan Kean-Howie, Janice Landry, Matthew Marchand, Robin McNeil, Ron Tetreault, Tracey Williams. The Pastoral Council will work closely with the Financial Council and the many other committees to assist Fr Williams in making St. Agnes a very vibrant & faithful community. Two of our main goals this year are increasing the number of parish volunteers and improving the lines of communication, ensuring our parishioners know about the many great activities and events that happen in our parish community. The success & growth of St. Agnes happens because of the countless hours of dedication from parishioners and Fr. Williams and we look forward to working with everyone this year to continue that growth.

The Canadian Legion, Vimy Branch will be donating a Canadian Flag with staff and stand to St. Agnes Church and will present this at the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday the 22^nd of October.

Hospitality Ministers: We ask our Hospitality Ministers to please pick up their schedules from the paper tables.

Pastoral Council will meet on Wed., Oct 18^th at 7 pm in the Father Frecker room.

Liturgy Committee meets on Thursday, Oct 19^th at 7 pm in the St. Agnes room.

Life Teen Halifax: This week October 15^th all are welcome to Mass at 6:50 pm at St. Theresa's followed by a Life Night (for grade 9-12). The Life Night this week is called "Second Overtime". Life Teen Extra this Wednesday at St. Catherine of Siena at 7 pm in the church.

Our new KD lunch is Tuesday, Oct 17^th at lunch time. All teens in grade 7 and up who would like to come to St. Theresa's Hall for a free lunch are welcome. A donation of food item or change would be greatly appreciated.
