A long time ago, I wrote news articles for magazines and community newspapers in, and around, the Halifax area.
One of my best early articles appeared in the September 1996 edition of the Nova Scotian discovery magazine Shunpiking.
As a special treat, I've scanned my original article in JPEG format (578 KB), making it available for a limited time.

Arts on PEI will resume in the New Year with new mini-docs and a new look.
In the meantime, I've added a recent price list I designed for Charlottetown marinade company, Clark's Country Kitchen, to the Media Design section.

I've just returned from the PEI Crafts Council Christmas Fair where I filmed some action shots for my next Arts on PEI mini-doc.
While I generally make it a rule never to discuss upcoming mini-doc topics, here is a tantalizing screen shot to serve as a bit of a coming attraction.

I've just posted a brand new double-length mini-doc to my Arts on PEI Website.
Stand-up and Deliver is a celebration of Island comedy featuring comedians Heidi Brander, Heather Jordan Ross and Taylor Carver, along with the improv comedy stylings of The Popalopalots.

After much consideration, I've included two graphical exercises that I completed during my two-year stint as a student in the Marketing and Advertising Management program at Charlottetown's Holland College.
Although these promotional items never saw the light of day outside a classroom, they've received sufficient accolades for me to add them to the site in both the Advertising and Branding sections.
Enjoy!
